Roedvig Marine Engine Museum
Both children and adults with an eye and ear for old technology and nostalgia will enjoy visiting Roedvig Marine Engine Museum in Havnevej.
The Museum includes a fine collection of 150 marine engines, dating as far back as 1903. When an engine is started for the benefit of visitors, it must be preheated by a blow lamp. Then the start takes place with the aid of a crank or compressed air - and the sound of yesterday´s fishing boat is heard thoughout the museum.
On wiew are also ship models, blowlamps, blocks from sailing ships and a lot more. Outside stands "Vivi", a fishing boat open to visitors.
