Hotel Amerika

Hotel Amerika is a well-run 4-star hotel that has welcomed both business travelers and tourists for 20 years. What guests have in common is their visit for the good hotel experience with excellent service and personal guest contact. The hotel comprises 67 rooms (dogs are allowed in selected rooms for an additional fee) and 5 conference/banquet rooms.

As the name suggests, Hotel Amerika is located in the area known by the locals as "America". Originally, the hotel was a school for the blind before being established as a hotel in 2003.

At Hotel Amerika, you will find the highly recommended à la carte restaurant Restaurant Uafhængig, which welcomes both overnight guests and external guests. The menus are carefully crafted, all based on seasonal ingredients and inspired by the surrounding nature; the Østerskoven and Mariager Fjord.

Food is not alone. The passion for wine is high, and the wines in the wine cabinet are carefully selected and tailored to the seasonal menus.

Restaurant Uafhængig is stylishly and cosily furnished with views of the park and forest.

Additionally, you can find a bar/lounge in the reception area where you can enjoy a drink or two.
