Active and relaxed short break in nature
Holmely Ebike Holidays are packaged bicycle stays at the ridge of Jutland where hills, deep forest, lots of lakes and the Gudenå Valley characterizes the landscape. Everything is planned for you in advance, so all you have to do is show up at Holmely. The bicycle is ready, clean and with a fully charged battery. And here in the southern part of the Danish Lakelands, you will be accommodated at a place with many exciting and unique choices of accommodation.
Gourmet, fjord, and springs
When you book your stay, you can choose from three different programs. All trips include accommodation at Holmely. No matter which option you choose, the route is tailored to ensure a memorable experience along the way. The distances are manageable on an e-bike, and you don’t need to be in top physical shape. Here, the focus is on enjoying the experience and the cozy atmosphere. Both trips include a visit to the Uncovered Bridge on the arrival day, which is located quite close to the accommodation.
The Gourmet E-Bike Holiday takes you past some of the best local food producers and farm shops in the central Jutland landscape. Here, you’ll enjoy delicious lunches and exciting tastings of both food and beverages. Additionally, there are ample opportunities to explore the stunning nature that characterizes the area.
You can also choose the Lake and Springs E-Bike Holiday, where you’ll explore some of the many beautiful lakes in the region. You’ll also visit the significant Tinnet Krat Watershed, where both the Gudenå and Skjernå rivers originate.
The third option is a guided 4-day tour around Horsens Fjord. The trip starts at Holmely and follows the Bryrupbanestien trail to Horsens, then continues along the fjord, including an island-hopping adventure to Alrø and Hjarnø. This cycling trip includes accommodation at three different locations, visits to three museums, and numerous natural attractions.
For all trips, you also have the opportunity to book a recommended trip to Klostermølle and the viewpoint Sukkertoppen, including lunch from Det Lille Røgeri on the departure day. This trip offers visits to three different accommodation locations, three museums, and several scenic natural attractions.
Bike rental
You also have the opportunity to rent an e-bike without accommodation and go for a bike ride in the lovely nature. The price is 300 per day per bike.
About Holmely
Holmely is located in the nature area Bakkelandet west of Brædstrup. Here, they offer memorable and different accommodation with nature in focus. You can try glamping, sleeping between the tree crowns in a treetop shelter, or sleeping inside in the creatively designed rooms.
