The Glass workshop at Glass - Museum of Glass Art
Glass - The Museum of Glass Art has a working glass workshop in the garden, which is open most of the year. Here you can get up close to the craftsmanship as skilled glassblowers mould the hot glass mass into useful items and unique creations.
Artists and craftsmen
In the workshop, the museum's professional glassblowers work to create and develop products for the museum's shop and partners. In connection with the museum's exhibitions, you will also be able to meet current artists who explore the possibilities of the material in collaboration with the workshop manager, as well as visiting glass artists and craftsmen from Denmark and abroad.
You are welcome to ask about the process and get answers to questions about glass making along the way.
As a guest, you can sometimes also be active in the workshop when there are public activities such as sand casting during school holidays.
