Count Churches and Discover Sights Along the Way

On the lake, you’ll have the chance to see five churches: Vinderød Church, Ramløse Church, Annisse Church, Lille Lyngby Church, and Kregme Church. Frederiksværk Church can be seen if you walk along the canal towards Frederiksværk town. It’s located right by the broad river path.

Near the boat, you can also visit the public Arresødal Park at Arresødal Castle, where there’s a path leading to a bird observation area with a stunning view over Lake Arresø.

Practical Information for the Tour

  • For larger groups of children, you are responsible for bringing your life jackets.
  • Swimming in Lake Arresø is prohibited due to water quality, but the area offers many other wonderful experiences.
  • If you’re coming from the north to Arresødal and M/S Frederikke, your GPS may direct you via the road from the Vinderød side. This route is blocked by a barrier. Instead, continue towards Frederiksværk and Hillerød to the large roundabout by McDonald's with the blue gate. Drive around the roundabout and back onto the same road you came from. About 400 meters ahead, on the right-hand side, you’ll see the sign for the tour boat Frederikke.
