Emergency Dentists

If you require emergency dental treatment, any dentist that is part of the National Health Service in Denmark may be contacted. Visits to the dentist are always paid in cash.

Opening hours

The dental emergency service is open by phone on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 9-12
The clinic is open for physical attendance without an appointment every Saturday, Sunday and public holidays from 10-13. However, if disabled access is required, please call the duty number before attending.

Later appointments can be arranged when calling the on-call telephone number.

How to pay

Foreign citizens without a Danish health insurance card must pay for the treatment themselves. Payment can be made by cash or credit card.

Telephone hours

You can contact the staff on duty on tel. +45 23 62 02 01 01

Saturday, Sunday and public holidays 10.00-13.00

Please note that the dental emergency service is not open on regular weekdays during holidays. If possible, a referral to another dentist will be left on the answering machine during the holiday week in question.

Contact the emergency centre in case of pain

In the event of major swelling, fever or pain due to a tooth, the dental emergency service recommends that you contact the emergency medical service on tel. +45 70 11 31 31 31 for possible medication coverage.

If it's a broken tooth that doesn't cause pain and you can't see a small red or bleeding spot in the centre, it's usually enough to keep the tooth clean and come back when the emergency dentist is back.
