Campsite in Skablund Forest

This campsite is located on the edge of Skablund Forest and close to Sondrup Beach. It It can be found only 20 metres from the shore at the top of a coastal bluff with a view of Horsens Fjord. There are benches and a fire ring at the campsite, but make sure to bring your own wood. The site is marked with a pole in the fjord. 

The area around Sondrup offers an interesting landscape with lots of forest and tall hills. Nearby is Sondrup/Uldrup Hills and Trustrup udsigtshøje (hills with a view) that offer a great view of the fjord and the surrounding area. 

You can see the island of Alrø from the campsite if you look straight across the water. If you wish to visit Alrø, that is known for its quality eateries, the island is connected to the mainland by a dam few kilometres east of the campsite.
