Bridle path in Odder

On the northwestern outskirts of Odder lies the new district of Bendixminde, where you can go on a 4.4-kilometre riding/hiking trail with two tracks. On this versatile route, you walk through Balle Forest, along Stampmølle Brook, and over the village of Snærild.

On a nature excursion in the new Odder

Odder is expanding these years. In the northwestern part of the town, a brand-new district is being built. A combined hiking trail and riding path (separated by two tracks) makes it possible to walk or ride a beautiful loop around Bendixminde. The route offers a changing landscape, highlighting not only the newly constructed residential area but also the natural surroundings. Along the way, you pass through Balle Forest on the east side, and on the north and east sides, you walk along Stampmølle Brook.

Parking is available at the lot on Vesterskovvej, where you can also park your horse trailer. Here you will find a map providing you with an overview and information about the route. In the southern part of Balle Forest, there are opportunities to take a break, as tables/benches and hitching posts for horses have been set up.

Connected to the town centre

From the south side of the Bendixminde route, the town centre is four kilometres away. From here, you can follow established paths and routes all the way to the centre. The route meets the Stampmølle trail, which follows the brook through beautiful nature for the first three kilometres into the centre. The Stampmølle trail ends at Torvald Køhlsvej, where it meets the Heart Path in Odder. You can choose to follow the Heart Path the last stretch south. This way, you stay in green surroundings right until you reach the city centre.

Follow the digital map

With this digital map, you can follow the route via GPS on your smartphone. Here you also find suggestions for routes into the city centre.
